Our beloved member and immediate past Chairman, Mr. Shyam Sunder Aggarwal, passed away following a brief illness on 18 June 2023. He made an outsized contribution to SFC in general and to our Rural Schools Program in particular. In the rural schools, he was regarded as a grandfatherly figure who would get involved in the welfare of each student and their families. The teachers and students of the school were heartbroken by his demise and recalled the immense contribution he made in transforming many lives. SFC held a condolence meeting on 24 June 2023 to pay a fitting tribute to the great man.
