We Live to Change
The reason for our existence is to create change through education. Naturally, nothing brings us greater joy than witnessing this change. Whether it is in the students we support through scholarships or the impact our model schools have on children, or the difference the digital education we provide makes on students. Here are a few first-hand stories of change that have warmed our hearts and uplifted our spirits.
Stories of Change
Clement — First graduate in his family
“I am proud to be the first graduate in my entire family.”
Clement was completing his B.Com when his family hit a financial crisis. Working retail to fund his studies, he nearly dropped out when his mother needed surgery. His principal approached Dr. Meenakshi Shivram, who extended an SFC Merit Scholarship. Clement completed his final year and went on to build a career he had only once dared to imagine.
Today: Senior Operations Executive, Flipkart. First graduate in his family.

“Your support came at such an important time and made a big difference.”
Eshappa completed his BCA but could not fund his MCA. His father had passed away. His mother worked as a construction laborer to support his education. One scholarship changed the trajectory of his life.
Today: Earning Rs. 30,000 per month. A future he built on his own terms.
