“Education is the bridge that connects dreams to reality”

With three education programs implemented through eleven institutions, we make a difference to 4000 underprivileged students annually. There are lives we impact from primary school through high school, right up to college, and even up to a Ph.D. program if a student is so inclined.

We Live to Change

The reason for our existence is to create change through education. Naturally, nothing brings us greater joy than witnessing this change. Whether it is in the students we support through scholarships or the impact our model schools have on children, or the difference the digital education we provide makes on students. Here are a few first-hand stories of change that have warmed our hearts and uplifted our spirits.

Stories of Change

Impact of Our Programs

Our mission is to empower the aspirations of underprivileged children through education. We achieve this with the following programs.

SFC Merit Scholarship Program

This program impacts 700 students at any given time. One hundred twenty students graduating from Domlur High School in urban Bangalore and Government Girls High School in Hoskote in rural Bangalore qualify for the SFC Merit Scholarships. The scholarships are for the entire tenure of their higher education in the following colleges: Domlur PU College. Cauvery College, Aditya College, Government Degree College, Government PG College, and Government PU College in Hoskote. Depending on a student’s promise, our support for higher education can go up to a Ph.D. scholarship. In addition, we enhance the students’ employability through our Mentoring Project and help them obtain placement.
ANNUAL BUDGET: INR 2.16 cr.

SFC Model School Program

This program aims to create three model primary schools and impact 450 children. The primary schools we serve are Appareddypalya Primary School, Domlur Primary School, and Doopanahalli Primary School. Students from our primary schools go on to join Domlur High School, and the graduating students qualify for the SFC Merit Scholarships. The parameters for a model school are: Age-appropriate reading, writing, arithmetic, discipline and self-regulation, a well-rounded personality, and infrastructure. We achieve these parameters through remedial teaching, yoga, co-curricular activities, and building infrastructure.

SFC Digital Education Program

We are in the process of setting up seven computer labs with 255 desktop stations and 180 laptops in three years. In 2024-25, we target setting up 110 desktop stations and providing 60 laptops. We aim to implement the program in four schools and three colleges, impacting 4000 children in total. We will also impart digital education through third-party programs and external teachers. The importance of digital education in today’s times cannot be overestimated.
